Impact Of Covid-19 On The Education Sector In The UK

Education is a fundamental part of everyone’s life and this fundamental part has been distorted completely with the influence of COVID 29. When the deadly flu became a pandemic than every sector of life gets disturbed. The education sector gets in the hands of technology and online services like the dissertation help become very famous among the students.

Online learning and online earning has become the trend

Online education and services became the trend of the education sector. Many unemployed people and graduates went towards the identification of different means for living and started online services. The most prominent is the assignment making and dissertation writing services in UK. This is one side of the story of the actual impact Covid has occurred on the education sector of the UK.

The education Provision pattern has been changed!

The method of teaching was changed with the influence of the pandemic. This was common that due to increased cases the organisations were closed. Everyone was asked to stay at their homes and do not interact with anyone due to the chances of getting infected. In that times the students also stay at their homes and resultantly the online education became a trend.

Technology and education became the best partners in the time of trouble!

Adoption of technical methods for the delivery of lectures and providing education was the only solution in the time of crisis. The technology helped in shifting education completely on online platforms. The covid eventually give rise and spread the technological methods for study making teaching and education completely virtual (umich.edu, n.d). The process has impacted education in the UK and all over the world.

In understanding the impact of covid 19 on the education sector, the shifting of educational patterns to online platforms is not enough. There are many other factors included which are discussed below.

Resistance to physical interference

At the start of covid, the interference was completely banned due to the transfer of the virus. Students and teachers can only communicate with each other through online tools. The platforms like zoom and the Microsoft teams were the only communication method. The students were also struck at their house and there were no extracurricular activities for the students to get fresh.

Every process became online

In the field of education, students pass through different sectors, like exams, quizzes, interviews, labs, etc. The arrival of covid 19 transforms every process to online platforms. The exams, lab, and quizzes everything became online and students pass the examination and get promoted to the next classes without going to school. Most of the students in covid did not take education seriously.

Recovery Plan for Students

When the students stay at their homes for almost six months or more than that, the loss of the educational syllabus occurs. The lack came into the learning of students and when the students went back they were needed extra care and a recovery plan. The teachers plan to study extra to cover the syllabus adding burden over the students.

Students study but they lack concepts

Due to covid and online stuff, the students did not take their education seriously. Including the feasibility for online exams and tests students use the cheating tools and cramming for passing the examinations. This resulted in the lack of good concepts among the students. The only medium they used for the assignments and submissions was online help from professionals.

The strictness of social distancing and cleaning

The atmosphere is very scared and with the opening of schools, new rules have been implemented so that the students can take education by staying safe. For that rules of social distancing and keeping distance of at least 2 meters is very important for taking lectures in the classroom (University of Stanford, 2020). The environment of cleanliness has improved.

The problem of Anxiety and Depression

Sitting in homes has impacted the students adversely. As with the implication of lockdown, the students were not able to relax and chat. Due to that problem, the students became prey to anxiety and depression. In Covid 19 the ratio of students getting depressed has increased affectively. These conditions are somehow not good at all for student health.

Online platform a problem

For many students, online technology was a big problem. There are many areas in the UK where the internet facility was not available. According to the study by Office National Statistics in the UK, there are almost 60, 000 students that did not have any internet facility for them (ONS, 2019). Also, there are some students which do not even have the facility of laptops, mobile or PCs at their houses.

Rotation of Students

To manage a large number of students for schools it has been advised to call students for classes on alternative days. The rotation keeps on going as in week half student come for three days and a half for other three days resulting in rotation. Students strictly follow this while the teachers did not go on the alteration.

Lasting Impact over Education

The covid 19 has opened up new windows for the education system. Many organisations have implemented something new and something more functional in education. The covid has impacted in such a way that it has opened new roles for students and teachers that can be used now and after for solving a lot of problems in the future.
